I'm Javiola Castillo, a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor who works with both adolescents and adults. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M-Kingsville and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UTRGV. With over eight years of experience, I've had the privilege of helping clients navigate challenges such as trauma, substance use, depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders.
Throughout my career, I've worked in diverse settings, supporting at-risk populations, juvenile justice-involved youth, and individuals in in-patient psychiatric care. My therapeutic approach is relaxed, centered on respect, empathy, and compassion.
